We Love Dena

~ Biography ~

Dena’s natural ability and beauty is matched only by her incredible work ethic and desire to improve. Dena is a true champion who always rises to the occasion, whose focus is unwavering, and who has never rested on her laurels. Dena’s will soon be a story of great success; her triumph and notoriety will be entirely deserved and indicative of her unquenchable thirst for perfection in all that she does.

Dena chose to make singing and song writing her full-time career! Now as 2007 comes to a close, and Dena finds herself 2 years into her music career as a full-time singer / songwriter (armed with fourteen years of entertainment instruction and performance experience), her successes and growth offer proof and insight into the following: Dena will soon achieve superstar status and become the world’s newest pop-music icon.

Dena recorded and independently released her acclaimed EP ‘The Way You Look at Me’ in April '06. The first pressing sold out in about 4 months. Her corresponding MySpace account (www.myspace.com/denamusic) continues to be a proven vehicle of the upward direction her music is taking!

Dena has been featured at the Southern Tier’s top events over the 2006 summer season, including opening for the American Idol stars at ‘Spiedie Fest,’ performing to a five-figure audience at Lockheed Martin’s "Family Appreciation Day" (Owego), performing original material and "The National Anthem" prior to a Binghamton Mets game at NYSEG Stadium, and performing at Binghamton’s ‘Rec Park Music Fest’). Without exception, Dena captivated and dazzled the crowd with top-shelf performances, as always.

Dena has  been interviewed for TV by News Channel 34 (ABC and NBC affiliate) and WICZ (FOX affiliate), as well as Binghamton’s #1 pop fm station, Citadel’s WILD 104 (by whom Dena has been interviewed live multiple times, usually during morning rush: the day’s best day-part). She has also been praised by Gannett’s Press & Sun Bulletin and BUZZ Magazine. The critics agree: Dena is "the next big thing" and the pride of her region.

Although Dena had spent most of her waking hours in the studio, putting the finishing touches on her new CD, Dena has still found time to perform at some high-profile concert events, and to help her community at home. Dena also performed on stage along with national-act Wheatus as the group’s special-guest vocalist at the event. She’s also taken a pro-active role in her region’s Toys for Tots campaign, performing in 4 area fundraising efforts, including one such show at Binghamton’s Veterans Memorial Arena where she performed before a Binghamton Senators hockey contest (1,000+ in attendance) in her quest to help bring Christmas toys to local underprivileged children.

With Dena’s new full-length CD "Mirror" out now, things are about to shift into high gear. Part of what makes Dena so special is that she’s ready for the limelight and all that comes along with it. She has dedicated her entire life to preparing for this moment. Now is the time: Dena is ready, the world is waiting.
